Leah Vastine Obituary, Death – Leah’s favorite activities included knitting, word find puzzles, and watching television. She also enjoyed doing these things. These activities were also enjoyable for her.

She had a lot of excitement for baking and cooking, and she was a baker. Many individuals who knew her remarked that she was a skilled chef, particularly in the areas of chocolate cream pie, pastries, and lasagna.

This observation was made by a number of people who knew her. On the other hand, she was a huge fan of both dogs and cats despite their differences. One of the things that Leah enjoyed doing the most was reading the Bible, and she made it a point to spend as much time as possible in the Word of God.

Those who are able to carry on her legacy include her daughter, Melody Beam, who lives in Dillsboro, Indiana; her son, Richard Vastine, who also lives in Dillsboro, Indiana; her grandson, Doug Beam, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren. Her memory will be carried on by these individuals.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martin and Lorine Bennett, as well as by her devoted husband, Earl Eugene Vastine, and her granddaughter, Stephanie Vastine Golden. All of these individuals had died away before she went. In addition to her, her parents were among others who had passed away before she did.

The graveside services are slated to take place on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hogan Hill Cemetery in Aurora, Indiana. Hogan Hill Cemetery is located in Indiana. The ceremony will also be presided over by Pastor Bill Secrest, who will serve in this capacity.
