A man is in critical condition following a shooting incident inside a subway station in Brooklyn on Thursday.
According to police, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station around 4:45 p.m.
He was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
Sources within the police department indicate that a suspect is in custody, and a weapon has been recovered.
Delays are expected for northbound A and C trains as the NYPD carries out its investigation at the station.
