Denny Oechsner Obituary, Death – Dennis Dewayne Ochsner, who was 68 years old at the time of his dying, passed away on July 11, 2009 at the Bethesda Nursing Home. He had been battling an illness for a considerable amount of time. Within the state of South Dakota, the town of Beresford served as his place of residence. The Ochsners, Oscar and Mildred (Thompson), became parents for the first time on April 22, 1941, in the town of Mobridge, which is located in the state of South Dakota. The arrival of their son Denny was greeted with much joy by them. Denny began working alongside his father in the field of custom combining across the states of Kansas and Oklahoma after he finished his studies in Mobridge. This job took place in both of those states.
Denny was a multi-talented individual who has expertise in a wide variety of subjects. Over the course of his career, he had the ability to operate any piece of heavy gear without encountering any difficulties. Over the course of his life, he held a wide range of jobs, some of which include driving a truck, working on power lines, and working in coal mines, to name just a few of the numerous positions he held. Prior to his retirement from LG Everest Railroad in the year 2001, he had served as the supervisor of the maintenance of way section for the D&I Railroad. For a considerable amount of time, he had been serving in that position. In 1961, Denny Brown and Billie Brown tied the knot, and they were married at that time. One of their many blessings was the birth of a girl whom they named Marne.
After getting married in 1971, the couple proceeded to have two daughters, whose names were Kristi and Kari. There were two children that Dennis and Jannelle Badure had together. Jannelle Badure was Dennis’s wife. Jannelle fought cancer for a very long time and maintained her struggle against the sickness until May of 1994, when she finally succumbed to the disease.
Denny went ahead and tied the knot with Sharyl Waag beginning in the year 2000 and continuing forward onward. The spirit that Denny possessed was one that was not only kind but also generous. For the purpose of assisting other individuals, he would give away a shirt that he was wearing on his back to anyone who was in need of something.
Attending hunts, competing in motor races, and working on a variety of projects were all activities that brought him great joy. Some of the things that provided him a significant lot of joy were the opportunities he had to spend time with his family, particularly with his grandchildren. It is inevitable that everyone will experience a tremendous lot of sorrow, but Boots, his most beloved cat, will be particularly affected.
His presence will be sorely missed by all of us. Not only does Dennis’s wife, Sharyl, survive him, but he is also survived by his daughters, Kristi (Tim) Huenink and Kari (Chris) Carlson, both of whom reside in Beresford; Marne (Bryan) Bickel, who is in Trail City, South Dakota; and his step-son, Jeff (Julie) Hult, who resides in Huron, South Dakota. The state of South Dakota is home to each and every one of these people.
Holly, Ashleigh, Sylar, Nevaeh, and Clayton are some of the grandchildren that are included in this group. Each and every one of these grandchildren is accounted for. Sheila Dame and Jean (Milton) Roebuck are the names of the two sisters at this family. They belong to the same family.
The members of Denny’s family who had passed away before to his own dying were his wife Jannelle, his parents Mildred and Oscar Ochsner, and his brother Bernyl. None of these individuals had survived Denny’s passing. Funeral services will be performed on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge, South Dakota.
The date and time of the services have not yet been determined. Mobridge City Cemetery will serve as the location for memorial ceremonies to be held for members of the deceased. At the Wass Funeral Home in Beresford, there will be a prayer service held during the visitation that will take place on Tuesday evening from six o’clock to eight o’clock. The visitation will take place on Tuesday. The start of the service is scheduled for seven o’clock. The doors of the church will be opened for business one hour prior to the time that the funeral services are planned to start.
