Eugene Avery Obituary, Cause of Death – On the tenth anniversary of his birth, Eugene “Gene” Neal Avery, who had reached the age of 75 at the time of his passing, passed away at the Nash UNC Health Care Health Center. He had been a patient there for ten years. Both of his parents had passed away; his father, Philip Ira Avery, and his mother, Josephine Marie Barnum Avery, had both passed away. He was the son of the couple. On August 15, 1948, he was born in the settlement of Monticello, which is located in the state of New York. After completing his high school education at Monticello High School, Gene graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the State University of New York in Albany.

He went on to pursue more study in the field of accounting. He went on to have a prosperous career as an administrator in the business world. After completing his time spent serving in the Naval Reserves, he immediately began working as an accountant, a job that would remain with him for the rest of his life. He would continue to work in this field until the end of his life. In addition to being a devoted gardener, Gene was a beach enthusiast who enjoyed spending time there. Gene served as a volunteer for Friends of Rocky Mount Animals, and he was also a member of Rocky Mount Animals. Both organizations were dedicated to their respective causes.

Those who are left behind after Gene’s passing include his devoted wife of 43 years, Patricia “Pat” Sniffin Avery, his sister Linda Cosco and her companion George Kinch, both of Monticello, New York; his sister-in-law Kathleen Tuthill of Reston, Virginia; his nephew Christopher Tuthill of Leesburg, Virginia; his niece Jennifer Maresca of Leesburg, Virginia; an aunt; several cousins; and his cherished dog, Dobie. Gene’s memory will be cherished by his family and friends. The family includes each and every one of these persons as members. The Celebration of Gene’s Life will be held in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

The date and time of the event have not yet been determined. At this time, neither the date nor the timing of the event has been decided upon. There will be a visitation with the family beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon and running until one forty-five minutes before the ceremony. The visitation will take place in the atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

Because of the extraordinary care that he got through the services provided by the Hospice and Palliative Care department of Nash Health Care, the family would like to use this opportunity to express their gratitude to the professionals who work in that department. At the time of his passing, his wife, Constance Faye Avery, along with three brothers and one sister, had already had passed away. During his marriage, he was wed to Constance Faye Avery. Even before he was born, his parents were among those who had already passed away. His parents had already passed away.

Mr. Avery was a member of the Edmonton Methodist Church in addition to being a member of the Edmonton Masonic Lodge #931 in Edmonton. The city of Edmonton was home to both of these organizations. According to him, the thirty years that he had spent in Edmonton were the best of his life. In addition, he was quite involved in the community throughout that time. He made this claim on a frequent basis. Nearly thirty years had passed since he had first settled in Edmonton.

His three children, Dean Steve Avery, David Wayne Avery, and Lynn Blakenship, are among those who have survived him. This includes those who have survived him. Additionally, he was survived by his extended family members Jimmy is the name of one of the grandchildren, Carol Millikan is the name of one of the siblings, Daniel Eugene Avery is the name of one of the grandchildren, Matthew, Isaac, and Andrew Avery are the names of three of the great-grandchildren, and Jimmy is the name of one of the grandchildren.
