John Bartley Obituary, Death Cause – On Monday, December 18, 2023, John Alexander BARTLEY passed away as a result of his illness in Owen Sound Hospital. He had eventually succumbed to his condition and passed away. There is a member of the community known as John Bartley who is 76 years old and resides in Stokes Bay. Linda has been his wife for the past 39 years, and she has been a devoted wife to him throughout that time. He is the father of Leaonda Burley, who resides in Stokes Bay, as well as Jeff Bartley and Rene, who also reside in Stokes Bay. Each and every one of his children holds him in high esteem and reverence. He is known to be a compassionate and caring grandfather, as Jade and Jasmine are aware. In addition to being the son-in-law of Donna Burley, he was the cherished brother of Cindy Thomas (Steve), who resides in Mount Forest.

Donna Burley was his sister, and he was also her brother. Her parents, Lila (née Smith) and Cecil Bartley, as well as her brothers Dennis, Bert (Audrey), and Rick, as well as her sister Janice West (Roy), and her father-in-law Cliff Burley, all passed away before her. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. All of her siblings had passed away before her parents, who had also passed away. Johnson and Debbie L. Proctor of Port Arthur, TX, Diane Dennis of Groves, TX, Sheryl Whitfield of Bonwier, TX and Angela Polite of Norfolk, VA; four sisters, Enola Abraham of Baldwin, La, Cecile (Eric) Bartley, Joyce Keal of Charenton, La, and Jane Harding of Houston, TX; two brothers, Rufus Bartley of Charenton, LA and Darrell (Alberta) Bartley of Baldwin, La; five grandchildren, Nea Lumpkin, Kea Lumpkin, Jaquila Lumpkin, Amonti Edwards, and Leonie Hayes; two great grandchildren, Jayce and Ariya; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who realize that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot hea His parents, Ernest and Evelina Bartley, as well as two brothers, Wilfred Bartley, Sr. and Alfred Bartley, Sr., and one sister, Audrey Bartley Carter, passed away before John Bartley. John Bartley was the only child of his parents.

Wilfred Bartley, Jr., Peter Bartley, Damon Abraham, and Terry Abraham were his four nephews that passed away before him. In addition, he was preceded in death by him. In the years immediately after his graduation from high school, he went to Bluefield College for a short period of time before enrolling in Virginia Tech (Virginia Polytech Institute) in Blacksburg, Virginia. After this, he continued his schooling at Virginia Tech at the Virginia Institute of Technology. The fact that he was a member of a number of organizations, such as the Virginia Tech Engineering Club, Delta Sigma Chi, the American Institute of Industrial Engineers, and the Virginia Tech basketball team, was something that he took great satisfaction in. The Vermont Engineering Club elected him to the office of President, which he held for a period of time.

In the year 1960, Lowell was presented with a degree in engineering from Virginia Tech, the same educational establishment from which he had previously completed his study.
