Kevin Moran Obituary, Death – The loss of Kevin Gerard Moran, who was 67 years old, is deeply felt by those who knew and loved him. On March 27, 2024, Kevin passed away quietly at his Underwood, Iowa, home.

A Cherished Legacy

On March 28, 1956, Kevin began on his journey as the adored son of Joe and Leona Moran. He was raised in Honey Creek, Iowa, and attended St. Albert High School before enrolling at the University of Nebraska Omaha to study business. Kevin, who grew up in Iowa’s Honey Creek and Underwood, was a farmer with deep ties to the land. Together with his family, he was a vital member of Moran Beef, Inc., providing steadfast care for the cattle and the land.

A Beloved Family Man

Kevin found constant love and companionship with Annette Moran, with whom he was married for 36 years. They raised a family based on love and common values together. The pride and happiness of his life were his children, Doug Moran, Marissa Moran, and daughter-in-law Dusty Sena. Kevin leaves behind his three grandchildren, Henlee, Sloan, and Nialls, who will continue his legacy of compassion and kindness.

Fond Memories and Lasting Impressions

Kevin’s gentle and kind disposition made a lasting impression on everyone he came into contact with. His presence at family get-togethers made everyone happy and laughed, resulting in priceless memories that will last for many generations.

A Final Farewell

Those who knew Kevin will always carry his love and devotion in their hearts. During the visitation on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, family members will consider the significant influence of Kevin’s life. Kevin’s spirit will find its eternal resting place at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Council Bluffs, while his memory will be honored at a private family service.

The family has asked that memorials be made in Kevin’s honor instead of flowers, as a fitting sendoff for a life devoted to love, family, and community. Kevin will leave behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will brighten the lives of everyone who had the good fortune to know him when his earthly journey comes to an end.
