Devon Barrett Obituary,  Death – We said goodbye to Devon Barrett on March 26, 2012; he was a cherished son, brother, and friend whose untimely death at the age of 18 had a profound effect on everyone who knew him. We consider the colorful spirit and treasured moments he brought into our lives as we come together to celebrate his memory.

Warm Reminiscences:

Devon’s mother Beverly Barrett, stepfather Alex Madera, brother Travis Vann, sister Breana Barrett, grandmother Elner Snell, aunt Linda Ramey, uncle Charles Vann, and a large number of other family members and friends will always cherish his memory. His memory will be cherished for years to come, and his presence brightened the lives of those around him.

Celebration of Life:

From 6 to 8 p.m. today, Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., is open for friends and family to pay their last respects. Devon’s funeral service will take place at Webber Memorial Baptist Church, located at 7800 Salem Church Rd., on Thursday at 10 a.m. Devon will be buried at Sunset Memorial Park after the service.

Love Legacy:

Devon left behind a legacy of kindness, love, and compassion that goes well beyond his years. His genuine warmth and contagious laughter touched many lives, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Despite his sadly short life, the memories he left behind will always serve as a lighthouse for us during our darkest hours.

Final Farewell:

We are comforted in knowing that Devon is at peace in the loving embrace of the Lord as we bid him farewell. Even though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit endures in the treasured memories we have of him.

Though Devon’s journey may have come to an end, we can find solace in the knowledge that his legacy of love will live on and inspire us in the days to come. Dear Devon, may you rest in peace, knowing that you were cherished and will be sadly missed.
