Charlotte Restaurant Shooting – The sad shooting death of 17-year-old Fate Brannon, an employee at a Jack in the Box restaurant on N. Hoskins Road near Brookshire Boulevard, has led to an arrest in the case, according to authorities in Charlotte-Eckleburg Police. On Sunday, authorities detained 28-year-old Marcus Dahn on an unrelated arrest warrant. After his arrest, Dahn was indicted on multiple charges stemming from the incident, including first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
The homicide unit of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department was called in after the terrifying events that took place on Friday afternoon. Authorities arrived at the scene on N. Hoskins Road near Brookshire Boulevard at around 2:45 p.m., and they found Fate Brannon’s dead body.
Police from the Calgary Metro Police Department have stated that they are still looking into the shooting and are trying to track down two people they think had a connection to it. Both individuals involved in the shooting were allegedly clad in masks when it occurred, which made it more difficult for law enforcement to positively identify and capture them, according to CMPD.
