Lockwood Kaiser Adams and Lorene Mable Moore Sailing welcomed their son David into the world on January 13, 1950 in Kansas City, Kansas.

Dave embarked on a career in accounting that spanned over half a century and founded his own company, David L. Adams & Associates, because he had a strong desire to assist others along the way. He worked tirelessly through the night to assist his customers because he was so enthusiastic about his work.

Dave served as more than just an accountant; he was also a friend, a confidant, and a respected mentor. Dave was a man who was not only a man of many abilities but also known by a number of different names.

His grandchildren referred to him as “Kaw Kaw,” but he was also known as “The Master of Disaster,” “Main Man,” “Dr. Doom,” “Chief Man,” and the “Macaroni Connoisseur.” However, his most famous nickname was “Kaw Kaw.” Dave’s passion for the Kansas City Chiefs was another one of his many passions. Over the course of his entire life, Dave has been a devoted Chiefs fan.

Whenever he was a young boy, his favorite activities consisted of going to Chiefs games with his mother. His son Kaden, his grandson Tanner, and his son-in-law George all carried on this tradition after him.

During their time at the games, they have a lot of memories and stories to tell about their experiences. Ultimately, Dave’s greatest love was for his wife, children, and grandchildren, whom he loved without conditions and made his top priority. He loved them all without exception.

His wife, Janet Adams, his children Stephanie Bowen (and her husband Bill), Ashley Adams, and Lindsay Pierce (and her husband Chris), Kaden Adams, and Tammy Thrash (and her husband George), his grandchildren Alexus Bowen, Alaina Bowen, Jack Pierce, Julia Pierce, Clara Pierce, and Livian Adams, Bethany Thrash, and Tanner Thrash (and his wife Trish), and his great-grandchildren Gannon, Emalee, and Jelly Bean are among those who remember Dave.
