Janet Andrews Death, A Member Of The Hope Wesleyan Church In Independence Has Passed Away

Janet Andrews Death Cause – Janet R. Andrews, who was 75 years old and a resident of Independence, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at her residence in Independence. She had fought cancer with great courage and had displayed a lot of bravery throughout her battle.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at the Hope Wesleyan Church in Independence on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at eleven o’clock in the morning. The date and time of the event are still to be determined. This will be followed by a modest lunch that will be supplied by Denali’s in Independence, which will continue the Celebration of Life that has been going on. It is planned that the burial will take place at a later period.

The memorial visitation will begin at nine in the morning on Thursday at the church, and it will continue until the beginning of the rituals. Independence, Iowa was the location of her birth on March 14, 1949. Her parents were Floyd and June (Larson) Holst, and she was their daughter. It was her mother that inspired the naming of Janet R. Holst. The year 1967 marked her graduation from Independence High School, and she was a member of the class that celebrated her graduation.

She eventually completed her studies at Hawkeye Community College, where she had enrolled in the Administrative Assistant program. She subsequently received her degree from that particular educational establishment. Janet tied the knot with Michael Irwin, and the couple went on to have two children together: Lori and Jennifer throughout their time together.

The couple eventually split in their senior years. Janet Andrews and William G. “Bodie” Andrews became husband and wife in Independence on August 30, 1991, after exchanging their vows and became husband and wife. Their shared interest in traveling and searching for antiques across the country was a hobby that they shared together. While Janet had a deep love for her family, she also had a special affection for the Lord.

Her two favorite things to do were tending to her garden and making her house and church more attractive. She also enjoyed working in her garden. She was a major admirer of driving her Ford Mustang GT, and one of her favorite shows to watch was The Golden Girls. She also enjoyed watching The Golden Girls. Janet was a member of the church at the Hope Wesleyan Church in Independence, where she would regularly attend services.

Janet is survived by her husband, Bodie Andrews, who resides in Independence, Iowa; two daughters, Lori (Chad) Albright of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jennifer (Brent) Pettigrew of Center Point, Iowa; one step-daughter, Heather Andrews of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five grandchildren, Brooke Albright, Paige (Duncan) Smeins, Jordan (Chelsea) Bellendier, Ellea Kreb, and Khloe Pettigrew; four great grandchildren, Blakely, Watson, J.T., and Blane; and one brother, Ken Holst in Center Point, Iowa, who is married to Dee Holst. All of her family members, including her parents and her two brothers, Roger Holst and Richard Holst, had already passed away before to her birth.
