Skylar Freeman Death, Local LARPing Event Member Died From Brain Cancer
Skylar Freeman Obituary, – The death of Skylar Freeman, a member of the local LARPing event, was attributed to brain cancer. Over the course of the past few years, many of you have been following the trip that my brother-in-law, Skylar, has been on as he fights stage 4 glioblastoma, which is a form of brain cancer.
We are unable to adequately convey how grateful we are for your support and thoughtfulness during the time that he fought against his diagnosis by undergoing a number of operations, undergoing specific medical trials, and maintaining a combative and optimistic attitude.
Sadly, I must inform you that Skylar passed away last night. It is with a sad heart that I convey this news with you. For those who knew him, you are aware that I would never dare to declare “he lost the fight,” because one of his favorite things to do was to participate in local LARPing events while dressed as a Viking and holding a sword.
We are grateful that we were able to create wonderful experiences with Skylar while he was with us. We will always cherish those memories. The keen wit, fierce heart, and ludicrous sense of humor that he possessed will be sorely missed!
We would want to express our gratitude to each and every one of you for the immense support, thoughtful words, and thoughts that you have provided over the past several years. For Skylar, his wife Natasha, and the rest of the family as a whole, it was a very significant event.
“During the many years that I have spent on this planet, I have realized that when the Lord calls us home, we will go, regardless of the difficulty that we face. Nobody is able to stop it. There is just one life that we have to live. On the other hand, the tangible things that we invest in are abandoned.
As a result, I place a high value on maintaining memory. -Skylar Year 2023
