It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Pearce (nee Willard), a cherished member of our family and community. Virginia left us on April 3, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and warmth that touched the lives of everyone she knew.

A Life Full of Love and Devotion

Virginia was the loving wife of the late Morris Pearce, Sr., and a devoted mother to her sons, the late Morris Pearce, Jr., and Kenneth Pearce. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, bringing joy and guidance to her grandchildren, Stephanie Warga, Victoria Mullaney, Tre Pearce, and Andrew Pearce. Virginia’s family circle also included her sister, Sandy Day, and numerous great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Celebrating Virginia’s Life

To honor Virginia’s life and legacy, a viewing will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10:30 to 11 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, located at 11 Willow Avenue (Overlea). This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, where family, friends, and loved ones will gather to remember and celebrate Virginia’s remarkable life. She will be laid to rest in Parkwood Cemetery, joining her beloved husband and son.

Virginia’s life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and the power of love to endure through life’s challenges. Her unwavering support, guidance, and care for her family will be remembered and cherished forever. As we say goodbye to Virginia, we hold tight to the memories and the lessons she imparted, finding comfort in the knowledge that her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
