Barbara Elaine Becker Obituary, Lifelong Resident of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, Has passed away
Barbara Elaine Becker Obituary, Death – Barbara Elaine Becker, who resided in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, passed away on March 29, 2024. She was 75 years old at the time of her death. She spent the first thirty years of her life in Luxembourg before deciding to make the Outer Banks her permanent residence in 2009. She was born on January 14, 1949 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
She was an active member of the American Women’s Club in Luxembourg, and throughout her life, she found happiness and meaning in activities such as tending to her home and garden, traveling to different parts of the world, and participating in charitable work in both Luxembourg and the Outer Banks. Barbara was a voracious reader who looked forward to participating in a number of different book clubs.
Kayaking, feeding the birds and deer in her yard, and spending time at the beach were all activities that she delighted in doing because she had a deep appreciation for the natural world. In addition, she took great pride in her roles as a grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt, and she cherished the time she spent with her family staying at her residence in Kitty Hawk.
In addition to being a devoted mother to her daughter, Jessica Becker, and her daughter-in-law, Jackie Bialostozky, Barbara was also a devoted grandmother to her grandson, Noah.
Cindy Wimer, her sister, her nieces Amy Crouse and Nathalie Wagner, and her nephew Jay Wimer, along with their respective families, are the only members of her family after her passing.
Stella Monkiewicz and Harry Haushalter, Barbara’s parents, as well as her husband, Joseph Becker, passed away before she did. Barbara was the last surviving member of her family.
At a later time, there will be a memorial service held on the Outer Banks to honor Barbara and celebrate her life. Her unflinching love for her family and friends, her adventurous spirit, her generosity, and her kind nature will be the things that people remember most about her.
May God grant her eternal rest. A member of the family is receiving assistance with the arrangements from Twiford Funeral Homes, Outer Banks. You are welcome to share your condolences and memories with us at www.TwifordFH.com.
