Georgia Peikoff Obituary, Death – Midlothian was the location where Georgia died away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Her parents, John Jefferson Shue and Rachel Lavonia (Dill) Shue, brought her into the world in Corsicana. She tied the knot with Paul J. Peikoff. For fifteen years, Georgia worked at Wal Mart as a greeter for customers. Not only did she attend Field Street Baptist Church, but she was also a member of the Eastern Star. Bowling, golfing, dancing, learning to play the guitar, and watching the Texas Rangers were some of her favorite activities. She came away with multiple prizes from bowling.
The annual family gatherings that took place at Getzendaner Memorial Park and the Sunday evening dinners that were held at Granny and Papa’s house were two of her most treasured recollections. Georgia left an indelible impression on the lives of a huge number of people during her whole life by virtue of the acts of kindness, compassion, and generosity of spirit that she has performed throughout her entire life. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and treasured, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the good fortune to have known her. Her legacy will continue to remain in perpetuity.
In spite of the fact that we are grieving the loss of our cherished mother, we take comfort in the knowledge that she is now at peace, free from all anguish and suffering, and surrounded by love in the embrace of eternity. Despite the fact that her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, shedding light on our way even when we are going through the most challenging of times. Georgia, you were more than just our mother; you were also our rock of support, our trusted confidante, and our most tenacious advocate. We will miss you. There was no limit to the extent of your love, and the legacy of kindness and compassion that you left behind will continue to carry on for a very long time! We will always remember you, and your memory will always serve as a guiding light in our lives.
All of Georgia’s siblings, including her 10 sisters and 5 brothers, as well as her parents and husband, passed away before she, Georgia. We will always keep you in our hearts, and forever we will remember you. The idea that you are at peace and are keeping a watchful eye over us from on high provides us with some measure of comfort, despite the fact that our hearts are heavy with the loss that we have suffered.
We are going to hold dear the beautiful times that we were able to spend together, and we are not going to let go of the love that is the glue that holds our family together. May you finally get the rest you need, dear mother. For all of eternity, you will be remembered, cherished, and missed by those who knew and loved you.
These things will remain the same forever. Georgia is survived by her son, Paul Peikoff; her daughters Joan Wallace, Carol Dunlap, Linda Vereen, and Paulitte Jones; several nieces and nephews; her neighbors Kay and Larry Kelm; her fifteen grandchildren; her thirty-one great-grandchildren; and her twelve great-great-grandchildren.
