John Farrell Obituary, Death – You, John Farrell Diana June Millette Farrell, his wife and high school sweetheart, as well as his parents Harry and Louise Farrell, his sister Rosemary LaBounta, his brother Cecil Farrell, his sister Rita Jean Kerber, and his sister Bernice Unze all passed away before him. Granddaughters Marie (Jared Jerzak), Emma, and Sarah, as well as daughters Suzanne (Tim Oppenheim) and Annette (Michael Sallman), are among those who follow in her footsteps.

His brother Donald Farrell and a large number of nieces and nephews were also among those who survived him. During his time at Mankato State University, John attended school. He was born and raised in Prior Lake. Beginning in 1965 and continuing through 1968, he was a teacher at Redwing State Reformatory. From 1968 until 1997, he was a math teacher at six different Minneapolis Public Schools. In 1997, he retired from South High School. Between the years 1968 and 1988, John served as a volunteer firefighter for the city of Roseville.

During his retirement, he also taught drivers education on and off through the years; the final school he taught at was CDH in the year 2020. Among John’s other interests were building and refurbishing, both of which he learnt from his father Harry and his father-in-law Louis Millette. For thirty years, John was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and throughout that time, he shared his experiences and gained knowledge from a crucial support network that ended up becoming like a second family to him.

There will be a funeral mass held at St. Odeilia of Shoreview, Minnesota, on August 17th, 23rd, at 10:00 am, and luncheon will follow. Giving presents on TPT channel 2 by the way. On January 18, 1939, he was born to Michael Farrell, who previously passed away, and Marie Shedrow Farrell. In addition to working as a Meter Repairman for Lafayette Waterworks, he was a student at Lafayette Central Catholic High School of Lafayette. In 1984, on August 23rd, he tied the knot with Ruth White. Before Ruth passed away on April 22, 2009, the pair had been married for a total of twenty-five years.

After that, John began a relationship with Rozanna Weaver, and the two have been together for fourteen years. John indulged in activities such as hunting, gardening, bird watching, and fishing. In addition to that, he enjoyed bakes and cooking. Foods such as Chop Suey, Oxtail Soup, and Pies were among his most beloved dishes that he prepared. As a child, John was a patient at Riley Children’s Hospital, where he was treated for polio. He spent a significant amount of time there. Sister Raphine was the one who instructed him in painting while he was there, and he went on to win multiple accolades for his works.

In addition to being an incredible artist, he was also passionate about painting. In addition to his companion, Rozanna Weaver, John is survived by his two brothers, Leo Dot Farrell of West Point and Dennis Valarie Farrell of West Lafayette; three step-children; several step-grandchildren; and a large number of nieces and nephews. His wife, Ruth Farrell, as well as his parents, Michael and Marie Farrell, as well as three brothers, Joe, Bob, and Charlie, and two sisters, Josephine and Catherine, passed away before him. Donations in memory of the deceased can be donated to the West Point Fire Department when flowers are not desired.
