A terrible accident that occurred on southbound Interstate 75 at Interstate 275 on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the death of Mark Harden. The Ohio State Highway Patrol has positively identified the person who was involved in the accident.
After being involved in a severe collision involving four vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, Mark Harden, a native of Cincinnati who was 52 years old, was declared dead at the site of the accident. In the original report of the event, which was made shortly after three o’clock in the afternoon, the Ohio Department of Transportation said that all southbound lanes beyond Union Centre Boulevard would be closed out of respect for the collision.
The early investigations that were carried out by the Ohio State Highway Patrol indicate that Harden was operating a Chevrolet Equinox in the right lane when he was involved in a collision with a Toyota Camry that was travelling in front of him. As a result of the collision, Harden lost control of his vehicle and veered across lanes. His vehicle was tragically involved in an accident with a tractor-trailer that was moving in the left lane.
The collision forced the tractor-trailer to drive off the road and into the median, while Harden’s automobile spun out of control and was hit by another vehicle one more time. The Oregon State Highway Patrol has verified that the other drivers that were engaged in the collision did not sustain any injuries.
The authorities have subsequently restored the impacted lanes of southbound Interstate 75 beyond Union Centre Boulevard, as well as the ramp leading to eastbound Interstate 275. This comes after the shutdown of all southbound lanes of the highway.
